Is this an official telc exam?
No. ExamHeld is an exam simulator that reproduces the telc B1 format. Not affiliated with telc gGmbH.
How accurate is the AI grading for Schreiben?
We tested it on 210 real letters from telc B1 exams, rated by trained telc raters. In 76% of them our AI reached the same verdict: B1 level or not. Where it differed, it was mostly stricter (40 of 50 letters). For you, that means: if you reach 60% in Schreiben with us, your letter is very likely at B1 level. For 9 out of 10 such letters, the raters agreed.

Can I get a refund?

Can I cancel the Exam Passport?
There is nothing to cancel: the Exam Passport ends automatically after 12 months. Early cancellation is only possible for good cause, via "Cancel contracts here" at app.examheld.de/cancel. Your access then ends and the price is not refunded automatically. Within the first 14 days, withdraw instead and you get everything back.
How long does an exam take?
About 2.5 hours, just like the real telc B1. You can pause anytime and continue later.
When does an exam count?
As soon as you start it. You can pause at any time and continue later, even days later. Starting again takes you back to your open exam, so it never counts twice. With the Exam Passport you can retake exams you have started as often as you like. Every exam includes the Sprechen simulation. On top you get 30 extra Sprechen repeats to use on any retakes. Once they are used up, retakes run without Sprechen.
Will I pass the real exam?
We can't guarantee it. But you'll know where you stand beforehand: every exam is graded by the criteria of the real telc B1.
Are Goethe / B2 / C1 coming soon?
Yes, more formats are in planning.
What happens when my Exam Passport expires?
You can no longer start new exams or retakes. An exam you have already started can still be finished. All results and reviews stay readable for as long as your account exists. You can buy a new Exam Passport at any time afterwards.
Do I get explanations for my answers?
Yes. For every answer you see why it is right or wrong. On top, you get AI feedback for every exam section.
How is ExamHeld different from books?
